Tired of group chat flake‑outs — how do you guys reliably fill a foursome?

I’m curious how everyone here deals with this, because it’s driving me insane.

Bad weather forecast or not, it’s always the same story. I’ve got a tee time, I’ve got 2 guys locked in, and then I spend 45 minutes in a group chat trying to find a fourth who will actually show up.

Three weeks ago I showed up as a 2‑ball on a Saturday morning at Bethpage Red because my third cancelled the night before and my fourth cancelled the morning of. Paid for 4, played as 2. Happens more than I’d like to admit.

It got so annoying that I built a little tool for myself to post tee times and let nearby golfers request to join. You approve who makes the cut, group chat opens, and you’re not stuck playing a 6‑hour round with a random.

Before I open it up more widely, I’d love feedback from real golfers: What would you actually want in something like this? What would make you trust it enough to use it?
